WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

  • Development and responsibility of mechatronic products, taking into account technical and economic aspects, including the integration of innovative robotics technologies such as mechanics, sensors and software
  • Mechatronic overall responsibility for individual products, including design, calculations and BOM creation, e.g. in the area of gripper technologies, energy supply or cable routing on robots
  • Creation and monitoring of detailed project schedules based on key milestones, including the standardization and modularization of mechatronic systems
  • Planning and execution of test setups, such as prototypes for robot cells, as well as technical complaint processing
  • Optimization of the designs in terms of modularity, standardization and cost efficiency, with a special focus on vacuum technology, sensor technology and safety design of robotic systems
  • Preparation and maintenance of product and hazard analyses as well as technical documentation with the inclusion of networks and e-plans
  • Coordination and support of assigned personnel resources such as technical draftsmen and apprentices, with a focus on the further development of UI/UX solutions for mechatronic products

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Completed training (HTL, FH, Uni/TU) in mechatronics, electrical engineering or automation technology
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in the relevant field
  • Sound knowledge of mechatronics (actuators, sensors, robotics, software) and/or automation technology
  • Confident handling of CAD programs as well as written and spoken English skills
  • Analytical thinking, creativity and joy in solving complex problems
  • Ability to work in a team, reliability and structured way of working
