Strategic Portfolio Manager Software (M/F/D)*

We are looking for a dedicated and visionary individual to join our team in the strategic development of the TGW software portfolio. In this key position, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating the specific needs of our customers and the technological and economic requirements of the industry and various sectors. You will develop medium and long-term roadmaps for the software portfolio and conduct regular competitive analyses to ensure that we are always one step ahead of market requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

  • Identify and evaluate technological and economic industry, sector and customer requirements
  • Establishing medium and long-term roadmaps for the TGW software portfolio including
    regular competitive analysis
  • Defining new requirements for the TGW software portfolio, further developing the existing portfolio, as well as evaluating new requirements as part of the innovation process in close cooperation with portfolio line management, market representatives and development
  • Support all business development and sales channels to identify and evaluate business opportunities and models
  • Advise and support local sales units
  • Support market intelligence and customer facing activities
  • Anticipate industry and technology trends, evaluate technology partnerships

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Training in software, project management, R&D or related fields
  • Good knowledge of intralogistics: market environment, market participants, supply chain, processes, technologies
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in a business development, sales, marketing and/or technology environment
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as good commercial understanding
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and creative problem-solving skills
  • Very good organizational skills and time management
  • Cost awareness and experience in project management is an advantage
  • Very good German and English
