As a Requirements Engineer (m/f/d), you will actively shape the product development process. This position offers you the opportunity to work closely with our product managers, developers and stakeholders. With your expertise in requirements management, you will support product development in meeting the highest standards in order to inspire our customers.

  • Creation of requirements specifications: You will develop detailed specifications for our mechatronic development projects based on business requirements and customer use cases.
  • Review of business requirements: Together with portfolio management, you will check the suitability of the business requirements and ensure that they are suitable for refinement in the development project.
  • Process definition in requirements engineering: You will define an active requirements engineering process that covers the entire product lifecycle, with a special focus on change management.
  • Know-how transfer: You will transfer your knowledge in the field of requirements management to project managers and developers so that all team members are up to date.
  • Definition & maintenance of guidelines: You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of guidelines for the formulation and decomposition of requirements at various detail levels as part of product development.

  • Technical education (FH/Uni) in mechatronics, automation technology or similar as well as several years of experience in requirements engineering, system architecture or project management in the mechatronics environment
  • Sound technical understanding in the fields of mechanics, electronics, control technology, drive technology and embedded systems
  • High motivation to establish requirements engineering in the company in the long term
  • Ideally, knowledge of modern requirements engineering tools
  • Independent, precise and structured way of working as well as assertiveness
  • Very good communication skills, flexibility and willingness to learn
