Solutions Designer Retrofit (M/F/D)*

As a Solutions Designer in Retro-Sales, you will be the central point of contact throughout the entire course of the project. You will be responsible for both the technical solution and the calculated effort required for it. In doing so, you act as an interface between the customer, the subcontractors and all necessary internal resources.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

  • Development of an optimal mechatronic solution together with the sales engineer

  • Collecting, understanding and questioning relevant customer-side processes and requirements (possibly by means of tendering) and recording including customer-side approval

  • Analysis of customer data and development of customer-side requirements

  • Creation of material flow, expansion or modernization concepts for existing systems as well as preparation of the overall calculation with the help of a project schedule

  • System presentation as well as argumentation and sales to the customer

  • Ongoing contact with the customer's technical contacts

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Completed technical training in the field of automation technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, etc.

  • Very good knowledge of the use of MS Office programs, Visio and Auto-CAD

  • Experience in process design and function descriptions desirable

  • High degree of communication skills as well as self-organization and flexibility

  • Good knowledge of German and English

  • Willingness to travel
