Manager Project-Controlling (M/F/D)*

As Manager Project Controlling, you will be responsible for the disciplinary and technical management of our Project Controlling team. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategies and processes to monitor the financial performance and progress of our projects. In addition, you will support our project managers and the finance departments as a business partner on an equal footing and make a significant contribution to the company's success through your expertise.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

  • Leadership and further development of the 3-person project controlling team

  • Development and implementation of project controlling strategies to monitor financial performance and ensure budget compliance

  • Budgeting and forecasting of our project business in cooperation with our division managers

  • Proactive advice and support of project managers in commercially demanding projects and negative project trajectories

  • Preparation of KPIs, ad-hoc evaluations, projections, risk/trend analyses,... 

  • Improvement of system engineering processes, especially in the area of SAP and SAC, to ensure our high data quality

  • Training and introduction to our business model by our younger colleagues

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Completed commercial/technical training (FH, university or HAK with additional qualification) as well as several years of experience in controlling and/or project management in plant engineering

  • Analytical and interdisciplinary thinking, entrepreneurial thinking and acting, as well as result orientation

  • Independent work and the ability to proactively identify optimization opportunities in projects

  • IT affinity and process orientation

  • Good knowledge of English and comprehensive knowledge of SAP

  • Commitment to compliance with Group standards and TGW values
