STRATEGIC PROJECT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - PROCUREMENT (M/F/D)*
As supporting position of our Global Purchasing department, you will provide support for strategic projects across different departments as well as locations. You will assist in the preparation of policies and processes as well as in the information flow within Global Purchasing and its stakeholders. You will assume responsibility step by step and independently promote projects in the procurement environment. Furthermore, you will be the contact person for our customers, ensuring that their demands and requirements are in line with the possibilities of the TGW organisation. You will not only make an important contribution to the progress of our projects, but also gain deep insight into the fundamental SCM processes.
WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

Support of the head of department for strategic projects (focus on Global Procurement)

Coordination, adaptation and status reporting of strategic projects
-
Preparation of information material about the supply situation and the Global Purchasing strategy
-
Creation of reports, analyses and presentations for the head of department
-
Communication interface to units, customers and internal stakeholders
-
Supplier contact during defined projects and signing of global contracts
WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Experience in Strategic Purchasing or Supply Chain Management

Project management experience
-
Excellent MS Office skills and ideally SAP knowledge

Ability to work in a team, good communication skills and entrepreneurial thinking

Very good command of German and English
-
Willingness to travel in about 10% of working time
