SAP ABAP Developer (M/F/D)*

In this role, you will work on exciting SAP projects and be responsible for programming and expanding our S/4 HANA system. You will accompany the projects in all phases of software development and, in addition to a technical specification, you will also be responsible for adequate implementation, ongoing monitoring and testing of your own developments. With your independent way of working and your interest in the latest technologies, you can expect varied tasks in a dynamic SAP environment.
WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING
- Programming and implementation of extensions, interfaces, reports, forms and own SAP-based applications for dialog and background processing in ABAP/4 and SAP UI5 context
- Creating technical concepts and application designs for integration into the TGW IT architecture for cloud and on-premise solutions
- Rollout, testing and operation of SAP systems and individual applications
- Optimization of existing codes and applications in terms of performance and usability
- Analysis of current requirements and implementation of creative and efficient solutions
- Link between the specialist department, in-house consultants, SAP Basis and external consultants
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Completed IT training (university/university of applied sciences or HTL specializing in computer science or similar)
- Experience in object-oriented ABAP programming and design patterns
- SQL knowledge for queries of all kinds and development of Core Data Services (CDS)
- User experience (UX) knowledge
- SAP, JavaScript, JSON, WebServices and HTML5 knowledge is an advantage
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
