TGW Logistic Group, an internationally successful group, plans to build a PLC commissioning team in Switzerland. Therefore, we are looking for a team leader as well as motivated team members. As a team you will carry out the commissioning of the controls equipment of automated material handling and storage systems at our customers' sites at home and abroad and you will experience at first hand how our systems "come to life". Based on costs and quality, you will take care of a timely ramp-up to the sold system performance. With your help we will set new standards regarding performance, quality and customer satisfaction.
Commissioning of mechatronic equipment in collaboration with the on-site team in due consideration of the general and operator-specific safety regulations
Maximisation of the profit made on the order through a professional and economical implementation of the customer's requirements
Realisation of interface tests and identification of improvement potentials in coordination with the Software Engineering department
Continuous documentation during implementation and after conclusion of the order, as well as filing of the final software version including communication to the customer Performance of specific troubleshooting and repair work as well as customer training
Several years of experience as commissioning engineer based on a technical education in the field of Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or Mechatronics, preferably in the material handling industry.
Good knowledge of PLC programming (Step 7) as well as experience in handling regulated drives and bus systems (Ethernet, Profibus)
High degree of willingness to travel (about 75 - 90% with 2-week stays on average on sites in DACH countries/Europe)
Good command of English, knowledge of additional foreign language(s) of advantage

During a training period (of up to one year) you will work together with an experienced team from Wels, Austria, and support it in the commissioning process Furthermore, you will collaborate in the preparation of software at the parent company in Austria, which is why you need to travel up to 100% of the working time during the first year After your training period you will stay in Switzerland and from there you will work on projects at home and abroad
