Safety Engineer (m/f)

In this position you will be responsible for all topics regarding safety and fire protection and will act as a health and safety officer at the locations in the wider area around Wels. In addition to handling projects regarding occupational health and safety as well as fire protection, you will be in contact with official authorities and inspectorates. If you are highly committed and work independently, you will be the right person to strengthen our motivated team.

Tasks

  • Technical and administrative management of safety projects

  • Management of 3rd party safety specialists and their work

  • Collaboration on and conduction of submissions to official authorities

  • Conduction and coordination of assessments and operating instructions as well as derivations of measures to reduce risks

  • Safety and fire protection audits

  • Definition and implementation of safety standards

  • Central contact person for safety issues

REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed HTL (Higher Technical College) and qualification as health and safety officer

  • Training as fire protection officer and in operating fire alarm and sprinkler systems

  • At least 3 years job experience as health and safety officer in a production company

  • Profound knowledge of relevant laws and norms (Workers' Protection)

  • Good command of German and English, willingness to travel sometimes (approx. 10%)

  • Independent way of working, communicative character and high degree of quality awareness

The minimum annual gross pay for this position is 34,580 Euros. A possible overpay depends on your individual job experience and qualification.
