Experienced PLC Commissioning Engineer (m/f)

You will actively support our rapidly growing international team in commissioning the controls equipment of automated material handling and storage systems at our customers' sites and experience at first hand how our systems come to life. Based on deadlines, costs and quality, you will take care of a timely ramp-up and implementation of the specified system performance.

TASKS

  • Commissioning of mechatronic equipment in collaboration with the on-site team in due consideration of the general and operator-specific safety regulations

  • Leadership of Commissioning Engineers on site

  • Maximisation of the profit made on the order through a professional and economical implementation of the customer's requirements

  • Realisation of interface tests and identification of improvement potentials in coordination with the Software Engineering

  • Consistent documentation during and after the order, as well as filing of the final software version including communication to the customer

  • Performance of specific troubleshooting and repair work, as well as customer trainings

REQUIREMENTS

  • Several years of experience as commissioning engineer based on a profound technical education in the field of Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or Mechatronics

  • PLC programming (Step 7) knowledge as well as experience in handling regulated drives and bus systems (Ethernet, Profibus)

  • High degree of willingness to travel (about 75 - 90% with 2-week stays on average on sites in Germany/Europe)

  • Good command of English, knowledge of additional foreign language(s) advantageous

  • Professional and reliable way of working as well as stress resistance and loyalty

The minimum annual gross pay for this position is € 35,000,-. A possible overpay depends on your individual job experience and qualification.
